This policy explains how SpillTV Studios Private Limited ("we"), the operator of Rubbr, handles personal data when you use Rubbr.
Information we collect
When you sign in, we receive your name, email address (only when your provider has verified it), profile image, and provider account identifier from Google or Apple. During profile setup we collect your full name, nickname, birthdate, and optional gender. We also store discussion posts and replies, likes, reactions, side and over-pulse selections, follows, reports and blocks, referrals, notification settings, device push tokens, and request logs.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, confirm eligibility, operate profiles and match discussions, deliver notifications, moderate content and prevent abuse, provide support, measure reliability, and improve Rubbr. We do not sell your personal information.
Browser storage and advertising
Rubbr uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your selected sport, and remember your cookie choice. Optional Google advertising and Google Analytics load only with your permission. Analytics measures page visits, sign-ins, match opens, follows, and successful comments. We do not send your email, comment text, or search queries to Analytics. Rejecting optional collection does not block core features. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your choices.
Service providers and location
We use Google Cloud and Neon to host Rubbr and its database, Google or Apple for sign-in, Sportmonks and API-Cricket for match data, GIPHY when you search for GIFs, and Google advertising and Google Analytics only when enabled and consented to. Rubbr data is stored and processed in Singapore, and providers may process it in other countries. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention and security
We keep account and activity data while your account is active and as needed to operate and secure the service. Limited records may remain temporarily in logs or backups for security, legal, and disaster-recovery purposes. We use access controls, encrypted transport, and restricted production services, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and account deletion
You can review and update profile details in Settings. You may also ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, to correct or erase it, to withdraw consent, or to nominate another person to exercise your rights. To permanently delete your account, open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account, or visit rubbr.net/account/delete. The account record is deleted and authored discussion content is anonymized.
Grievances
Send privacy questions, requests, and complaints to our Grievance Officer at hello@spilltv.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. If you are in India and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Age requirement
Rubbr is intended for people aged 18 or older. Do not create an account if you are under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as Rubbr changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
